Only 28 degrees!

Yes, it is true! The weather forecast shows 28 degrees only the coming days, oh joy! It is really getting a bit cooler, one of these days we might be able to have weekend breakfast out in the garden again, without roasting to death!
Hopefully next week, when mam and pap comes, we will be able to enjoy the garden to it's full potential again!

Cancelled!

My cooking class is cancelled. This class started last week on request from mam, and the objective is for me to teach my little sister and her best friend to cook some decent meals. As they, too, have both moved to Malta recently and are now out of reach for their mothers wings, they have to learn how to feed themselves. And preferably something else than pot noodles and toast!

No, they are not that bad, they just need some more inspiration when it comes to cooking, and as I, myself, love to cook I have no problem what so ever holding a little cooking class once a week.
Anyhow, tonights session is cancelled because my sister found a job as a waitress and will be working there tonight instead, so my planned super-duper-lasagna will have to wait until tomorrow. Btw, the super-duperness lies in a spicy bolognese and loads of cheese (cheese sauce, ricotta AND mozarella!) And yeah, using no recipe and tasting all the time, key in all my dishes. :)

Instead I will attempt to make something that I saw somewhere sometime ago, can't remember where, but the recipe was called 'Meatzza', which basically is like a normal pizza but with a base of meat. I'm pretty sure this will either be a complete flop or an absolute success, but I will keep you posted.

It's getting colder...

...or at least less hot. As I have mentioned, we live in Malta, and it is very, very warm here in the summer. But now I think it is finally cooling down a little bit.

You know how I know that? I don't have to use the coldest setting in the shower anymore, I can move the lever slightly to the left now, and that without sweating in the actual shower!!

Cheese!

Cheese - that's a key word in our home. We are just cheesy in general and people tend to complain about it. And there will probably be alot of that in this blog as well, so you might wanna get used to cheesy pictures and just getting generally disgusted every so often.

Enjoy!

Grand Opening!

So today is the day, or it's actually night now and should probably sleep if I want to make it to work without feeling like boiled shite. But anyways, this is the time when I write my first blog post.
The doors are finally opening for Freckles' blog! Many are those who have waited, and many are those who's lives will get a new meaning now that my blog is here to read! Or not...

Well, the reason I'm starting this blog is:

1. I think I/we have a pretty interesting life, and I should share it just because I can.
2. We have recently relocated to Malta and we have a lot of friends & family who hopefully will enjoy getting small updates now and then via this forum.
3. The fact that I will become famous and filthy rich because of this blog.

If you have found your way here...enjoy! Please leave a trace.
